Kansas City Interbranch Council

The Kansas City Interbranch Council of AAUW helps to coordinate the efforts of the individual chapters or branches within the greater Kansas City metropolitan area.  Together the branches join forces to sponsor several programs important to local women and girls. 

 

The Re-Entry Award program recognizes women who have overcome obstacles to go back to college as adults after several years.  Each year the Interbranch Council invites applications from area two year or four year accredited colleges.  The recognition includes cash awards for several students.
